Retreat to an Historic Homestead in the Southern Highlands

Eling Forest offers an escape from your every day living and we provide all the small luxuries for a special retreat. Our property gives our guests the chance to simply observe the general day-to-day seasonal activities of the vineyard and farm or the opportunity to meet and interact with the property management and winemaker.

Eling Forest has two B&B venues for you to enjoy.

THE HOMESTEAD.

Built in 1840 this fine colonial era homestead offers luxurious B&B accommodation for up to twelve people in a private rural setting amongst picturesque gardens.

There are seven beautiful centrally heated rooms (bridal suite, deluxe bedroom, 3 queen bedrooms, 1 twin and 1 single) - all equipped with quality furnishings in a period style reminiscent of Australian Country. Of these the bridal suite, deluxe and one of the queen rooms has a private ensuite; the others share bathrooms.

A guest lounge has TV, piano, wood fireplace and tea and coffee making facilities. There are also private sitting and dining rooms.

A full breakfast is served each day in the café. Dinner for 10 guests or more can be catered for by our chefs on request.

Bookings for couples and groups are welcome.

THE COLONIAL COTTAGE.

This delightful little convict-built cottage situated in its own garden offers B&B or self-contained accommodation for up to 4 people.

It has a double bedroom, 2 singles, shared bathroom, cosy sitting room and kitchen.

A full breakfast is served each day in the café next door, and the kitchen serves for self-catering if you wish.

Bridal Suite - $185 midweek, $195 weekends per couple

Deluxe Suite - $160 midweek, $170 weekends per couple

Queen Rooms - $150 midweek, $160 weekends

Queen Room with ensuite - $185 midweek, $195 weekends

Twin room - $150 midweek, $160 weekends

Single room - $80 midweek, $90 weekends

THE COTTAGE

$220 per couple per night, extra persons $80 each

Group and extended stays rates available on request. Weekends are Friday & Saturday; Sunday to Thursday Midweek. Extra fold-out beds $60 per night. Children under 5 free using existing bedding.

Eling Forest is a short distance from Sutton Forest, Moss Vale, Berrima, Bowral and Mittagong and the other towns and villages of the Southern Highlands where you will find many fine quality restaurants and cafes, galleries, potteries, craft shops, theatres and retail shops.
